If you are having trouble uploading files, please try a different upload method or disable software that might interfere with your upload.


1) At the 'Upload' window you are presented with two options: Add Files or Drag and Drop. Attempt uploading with the 'Add Files' method instead of 'Drag and Drop', or vice versa.

2) Click the 'Settings' link and select the 'Upload Settings' category. Switch the 'add files' type from flash to ajax or vice versa.  For the 'drag and drop' upload settings, switch to compatibility mode.

3) Ensure that your web browser is either the latest version of Internet Explorer 7 (download here), Safari 3 or Firefox 3 (download here).

4) Check to see if you are running the latest versions of Java here and Flash here.

5) If connecting to the internet with a wireless card, check to see if the connection to the internet drops intermittently.  If this is the case then please be sure to use the 'drag and drop' upload method.

6) Ensure that an office firewall is not interfering with your uploads on Box.net.  If you are attempting to access Box.net from an office setting and experience upload issues, then please contact your IT administrator.
