The Box Enterprise administrative console gives the account administrator full control over the accounts in his Enterprise. From this console, the administrator can establish basic account settings; create, modify, and delete user accounts; and track user actions.

Enterprise Account Setting: Login URL
Each Enterprise account has its own sub-domain on Box.net (e.g. http://yourname.box.net). The administrator determines this URL. To establish or change it, click 'Settings' then select 'Domain Information' (at right). Enter your sub-domain in the box provided, then click 'Update'. The change is effected instantly.

Enterprise Account Setting: Logo
To upload a logo or other image that will appear on your login page (at your sub-domain), click 'Settings'. You will be taken to the 'User Information' page. There, next to 'Your pic/logo', click 'Browse'. Select the image (from your local drive) that you would like to use, then click 'Update'.

Adding a User
To add a new user to your Enterprise account, click on the 'Add New User' button in the upper right of either the 'Home' or the 'Users' tab. Enter the new user's email address (which will become their username), name, password, and storage quota (i.e. the amount of storage you would like to assign him). Click 'Ok!', and the user account will be created instantly. The user will automatically be sent an email (to the address provided) with his login information (username, password).

Changing User Information
To change a user's information (name, password, storage quota), click on the 'Actions' drop-down to the right of a user's name in the 'User' tab. Select 'Change user settings'. Enter the user's new information, then click 'Ok!'. The user's information is now updated.



Deleting a User

To delete a user from your Enterprise, click on the 'Actions' drop-down to the right of a user's name in the 'User' tab. Select 'Remove user'. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm your decision. Click 'Ok!', and the user's accounts (as well as any and all files in it) will be deleted. The storage that user had been assigned will now be available for other user (for additional information on storage distribution in Box Enterprise accounts, please see the Enterprise storage help page).




Entering a User's Account

From the administrative console, you can enter any of your users' accounts. To do so, simply click on the user's email address ('Users' tab). This will take you into their account with full access permissions (i.e. you may upload, download, and delete files as well as modify settings). To return to the administrative console, click the 'Return to Enterprise View' link in the orange banner at the top of the page.

Tracking Usage for Individual Users
From the 'User' tab, you can track the total amount of storage each user is using, the date of his most recent login, his most recent upload or download action, and what sub-users he has created. All of this information is listed below each user's email address in the 'User' tab.

Tracking Aggregate Usage
